Earlier that day, Dead Man Ray played at the Werchter festival on last notice. They didn't get any sleep that night, which can be heard in this gig. Rarely have I heard them talk that much shit like that evening! :)
Rudy's mumbling something about unemployed Belgians who came helping out with the P/A, and after Stain, the playlist gets lost, so they improvise the rest of the set. Daan plays practically every song with a malfunctioning contact on his electric guitar, and Wouter does a spacy improvised intro. Cool set, though the attending audience must have thought 'whatthefuck..?' |
