This is definitely one of the coolest cds in my collection! The first track is totally weird, incoherent song with cut-up samples and a very unusual structure. It’s definitely not my style but I like the je m’en foux kinda spirit this song was made with. The Cynthia appleby song is the same one as on the Heavenhotel presents some snapshots demo tape, but the track is called ‘Kathleen (Telephone)’ on there, in stead of ‘Kathleen nr.1’ as on this cd. I would definitely describe the style as a combination of Gore Slut’s instruments and Lionell Horowitz’s spirit. The song has Rudy getting mad at Craig because he has given Kathleen’s telephone number to Dave in stead of Rudy. No, really- it’s great!! The promo was released at the opening of a bar in Antwerp, called The Milk Bar. I don't know why though- Cynthia Appleby didn't play live then or anything... The sleeve says ‘very limited edition’ but I really wouldn’t know how many were printed. My guess is a couple of hundred or so.
