A rather 'classic' singersongwriter album. Jef Mercelis wrote practically all of the songs and lyrics on this album on his own, which is something that surfaces in the final sound of -what is supposed to be- the album of a band.
The songs are what make or brake such an album then, and as far as I can tell, the songs are not bad at all. Personally, this type of semi-poppy ballads, isn't my sort of thing, but it's clear this is a quality album within the genre.
Now why is this album included in the rudy trouvé discography? Rudy mixed or remixed 8 of the 13 songs on the cd, together with geert van bever and/or jef merelis himself.
This isn't why you should rush to your local record store and buy this record, but it would be in no way a bad addition to your collection anyway.
