I like this. After the very nice Please', and the not-so-nice-in-my-book 'My alarm goes off when you cry' singles,
Every year set hopes for the full album high again. Every year is a tender, semi-melancholic/optimistic pop song, done in style and with expertise, and featuring a delicious naïve background choir mixed in as well. Noah and Heaven are both more of the same- done in style, with attention to detail, and a sense for good melodic tunes. On all three tracks, Groep Jezus show they have matured and are ready to record a whole album. Rudy's production/mixing is excellent too. This is a promo-only release, 50 copies have been printed and sent to radio stations and the likes. | |
