Did anyone say strange? Because that’s exactly what this single is, and is all about. Pascal Deweze (Metal Molly,
Mitsoobishy Jacson) and his dad recorded a cover by a French crooner called
Claude François. What more can I say about it? It’s a cheesy French chanson- something your grandparents will definitely like. The other track, by (pfff…) ’Sunday afternoon soundsystem featuring Sue Daniels’ is a crazy little song, apparently solely made with an Atari computer (although I'm pretty sure it's got the 'regular' guitar and sax in it too). I kinda like it. The Deweze+Deweze track isn't quite what you'd normally associate with the Heavenhotel label, but the Sue Daniels song sounds more 'familiar'. Still, 'weird' is the middle name of this unusual 7". |
