A very fine EP, containing the Rudy Trouvé Quintet Duyster session (27/08/2002), recorded at the Toots studio of Studio Brussel. Printed on CD-R, limited to 100 copies and sold only at gigs and briefly on the heavenhotel website, this little release demonstrates the difference between Rudy Trouvé solo, and Rudy Trouvé Quintet playing Rudy Trouvé songs. The Quintet plays a more 'full' sound, more diverse and less bedroom 4-track-ish than the same songs as recorded on 1999-2002. Very nice, and to honest - I'd have preferred the Quintet playing more on the full album as well. | |
